"As we make decisions, decide budgets, and plan for the future we must always remember that the people do not belong to City Hall. City Hall belongs to the people."

Meet Norberto
Norberto Orellana is a husband, father, author, entrepreneur, healthcare executive, incumbent Chairman of the Campbell County Republican Party, and conservative candidate for Mayor of Gillette. Born with cerebral palsy and raised through poverty, abuse, and chronic homelessness, Norberto’s life has been shaped by faith, grit, and a deep belief in personal responsibility. Today, he is running to bring a new era of conservative leadership to Gillette, rooted in responsible stewardship, strong families, limited government, and a city government that knows power ultimately rests with the people - not government.
The Platform
The challenges and opportunities facing Gillette do not need to be made complicated. They all fall under three simple categories: conservative leadership, responsible stewardship, and a strong community.

Conservative Leadership
Gillette needs leaders who believe in limited government, personal responsibility, free enterprise, transparency, and the courage to challenge business as usual.

Responsible Stewardship
Every dollar City Hall spends belongs to the people. Responsible stewardship means protecting taxpayers, asking hard questions, cutting waste, and making decisions that serve families and small businesses - not special interests.

Strong Community
A strong Gillette is built from the ground up: by families, churches, workers, entrepreneurs, volunteers, and neighbors who take pride in this place we call home.
“I proudly stand 100% with the platform of the Wyoming Republican Party - not partially, not selectively. Unequivocally. My campaign is rooted in limited government, personal responsibility, faith, family, freedom, free enterprise, and the conviction that government is the servant of the people, not the other way around.”
